This. I see so much about how he’s one of the worst Doctors, Series 1 is horrible, etc., etc., and it makes me so sad. I’m sorry, he was my first Doctor, and I couldn’t love him anymore than I do. He has some of the best scenes:

Sick of 14 year old fangirls squeeling over Matt Smith. Sure, he’s a cool Doctor, but you just like him because he’s a cute hipster dude. I doubt many of them have even watched the first season. I feel like the fan base of Doctor Who has shifted from sci fi fans to teenaged girls that also love Supernatural because the actors are omg lyke so hawt.

Yes, I am bitter. No, I’m not talking about anyone on Tumblr. Well, no one that I follow.

We don’t talk about him that much because he didn’t have as many episodes as Tennant. I loved him, I wish they would’ve done another season with him before introducing TEN. I feel like alot has happened since then so we kinda focus on that aspect of the show.
